The Rt. Rev Antoine Kambanda, Bishop of Kibungo Diocese has ordained Priest, Deacon Gerard Maniragaba.
This happened during Mass celebrated at Ngarama Parish, Byumba Diocese, where were present a number of priests and many faithfull, including those of a delegation from Kibungo Diocese. During this Holy Mass presided by the Rt. Rev. Servilien NZAKAMWITA, Bishop of Byumba Diocese, Deacon Gerard has been ordained together with another deacon, a native of Ngarama parish also, Diacre Fidèle Ndayisenga. It was a big celebration!
Father Gerard, native of Ngarama parish, Byumba Diocese, is number 5 to be ordained priest of Kibungo Diocese by the bishop of Kibungo this year 2016. He joins his other collegue priests who preceded him: Fathers Bahati Munanira Daniel, Jean de Dieu Uwiragiye, Cyriaque Shumbusho and Richard Niyoyita.
He starts ministery in the parish to be founded of Gahara, that he will reach on October 29th 2016. May God Guide him in his new mission.
